Ensemble Link MusiciansOur musicians are of the highest calibre and are chosen for their expertise and versatility as performers. Emily Duffill is the Artistic Director of Ensemble Link. She is a performer, teacher and has worked in arts management for Musica Viva and the Sydney Symphony. In 2004 Emily was the recipient of a New Zealand Fulbright scholarship to study cello performance in New York. She then went on to play professionally with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. During her time in the US she became inspired by the emphasis placed on community outreach in music. On returning to her "adopted" home of Sydney she decided to create Ensemble Link - a company that would provide more opportunities for young professionals and ensembles while retaining the positive values inherent in classical music - humanity, integrity and joy. Ensemble Link's mission is "connecting people through music". Emily is also a passionate cello teacher and is available to give private lessons. She has a number of students and has taught for the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
