About Ensemble Link

Emily Duffill is the Artistic Director of Ensemble Link. She has worked in the classical music industry as both a performer and arts administrator for such organisations as Musica Viva and Sydney Symphony. She is a past Fulbright Scholar, undertaking performance studies at the Manhattan School of Music and later working with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. During her time in the US she became inspired by the emphasis placed on community outreach and education programs within the arts. On returning to Australia she established Ensemble Link with the aim of increasing opportunities for emerging professional artists. Ensemble Link's mission is 'to connect people through music'.

Hi Emily,

The music was excellent - thanks very much for organising the lovely woodwind trio musicians. They were so helpful and adaptable at the rehearsal on the Friday, and played beautifully on the day, with no need for further direction from us. A friend of mine who is a professional violinist was at the wedding, and made a point of telling both me and the musicians themselves how much she enjoyed the music (high praise from a musician from a "rival" section)!
